Strong cross-laminated polymer self-adhesive waterproof membrane is made of high quality asphalt, synthetic rubber, tackifier, anti-aging agent as base material, through the optimization formula, the durable reactive viscidity self-adhesive high sealant with super adhesive property is prepared. Using a strong cross-laminated film as a surface material or foundation.

The durable reactive viscidity self-adhesive high sealant can produce the chemical reaction between the self viscose and the cement gel, so as to ensure the full adhesion of the material and the structure, so as to ensure the full viscosity and avoid the root of the water channeling.

        The strong cross laminated film is a special cross laminated high density polyethylene film. It is cross-laminated by a 45 degree oblique cut single layer film to form a multilayer film to make the tearing strength, the size thermal stability and UV resistance are greatly improved.

Construction technology

* Base treatment: the base should be strong, dry, clean (no dust, no oil), protruding parts and cracks should be leveled with polymer cement mortar

* Brush base treatment agent: containers containing the treatment agent should be stirred after opening the barrel. Brush should be used to brush around the base node, corner and so on, and then brush or spray construction. Keep the surface clean after drying. If any pollution the surface becomes dirty, brush it again. After drying, adhesive the coiled material in time.

* Node treatment: for gutters, deformed joints, waterfall openings, outstretched roof pipes, roof entrance should be treated in accordance with “the provisions of the roof engineering technical code”(GB50345-2004), and the parts need with reinforced or additional layers should be arranged in accordance with the regulations.

* The coils laying:

1. Horizontal laying: first, a baseline should be played on the base level, and then be paved from low to high.. At the same time unfold the coil, uncover the isolation paper, lay it along the baseline, and the width of the coil lap is ≥ 50 mm (full adhesive), ≥ 60mm((empty laying, sticky). After paving, the roller should be compacted with rubber roll immediately.

  2. Vertical head: vertical surface is paved from low to high, unfold and uncover the isolation paper. The width of the lap edge is the same as before, and be compacted with the rubber roll after laying.

  3. Coil head: the head should be sealed with sealant and then pressed with metal strips. The fixed screw and top seam should be sealed.

* Construction inspection: check whether all the self- adhesive coils are tearing, damaged, bubbles, and curled edges. If there is any defect, it should be cut at the defect, remove the bubble and restore it, and expand the area on the top, stick it together and compress it tightly.

* Protection of waterproofing layer: protection should be made according to “the provisions of the roof engineering technical code”.

 Matters need attention

* During construction, attention should be paid to protecting the lap edges of coil materials from being polluted and maintaining the cohesiveness.

* When the wet laying method is used, it is necessary to ensure that the air between the material and the mortar is completely eliminated, and the pressure roller is rolled to make the reaction full of adhesive and cement. After construction, it is strictly forbidden to tread on the waterproof layer and other physical damage. Protective layer need to be made after acceptance.

* When the dry laying method is used, the base is required to be dry and smooth, and the base treatment is carried out with a special base treatment agent.

* Base treatment agent and sealing paste for head collection are special materials for self adhesive coil.

Transport and storage

* The coil should be stored in a dry and ventilated environment, and protective measures should be taken to avoid sun and rain.

* During transportation, products of different types and specifications should be stacked in categories and can’t be mixed up; far from heat sources, no contact with acid, alkali, oil and organic solvents.

* During transport, it should be placed horizontal or vertical to prevent tilt, pressure and if necessary, cover with felt cloth.

* Storage temperature not exceeding 45, height of amplifier not exceeding 5 layers.

* Under normal storage and transportation conditions, the storage period is 12 months from the date of production. Once exceed the storage period, the products can also be used normally after passing the inspection.
